Product Developer / Design Engineer

Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate the following :

• fabrication or engineering skills background, conversant in welding and fabrication technologies
• fully adept with CAD

The role :

• To work within a small team upgrading and designing new products for the CCTV industry
• The role only relates to the metal work aspect of camera mounting solutions such as such as brackets and poles.

External laser tube sales representative

Following recent substantial investment in new technology, a position is available for an experienced external tube sales representative to promote the sales of laser cutting facilities on tube and box products.

2 x Laser Machine Shift Supervisors

Ideal candidates will have :

• A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a similar capacity
• Excellent man management skills
• Operational experience of flat bed and or tube laser cutting machines
• Experience of operating, Trumpf and Adige machines an advantage
• Press brake experience an advantage
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings
• Basic computer literacy

The role is to :

• Oversee approx 10 off laser machine operators
• Ensure maximum productivity & efficiency at all times
• To set and maintain a high standard of workmanship
• To take ultimate responsibility for the shift including staff, manufacturing, health & safety and final inspection

Hours of work – 38 hour basic week
 - rotational 2 shift basis. 6 am – 2 pm & 2 pm – 10 pm
- Weekends when necessary

2 x Laser Machine Operators

• A minimum of 2 years experience operating flat bed laser cutting machines
• Experience of tube laser cutting machines an advantage
• Experience of operating, Trumpf and Adige machine an advantage
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings
• Basic computer literacy
• Excellent attention to detail

Hours of work – 38 hour basic week
 - rotational 2 shift basis. 6 am – 2 pm & 2 pm – 10 pm
- overtime available

Laser Machine Programmer

Ideal candidates should be able to:

• Program Flat Bed Laser cutting machines using ToPs100 software package
• Upload .dxf .dwg into software program & program machines to profile accordingly
• Fully understand technical drawings & draw and devlop 2D components for secondary processing i.e press brake forming
• Work in Autocad
• Experience of programming tube laser machines, Trumpf and Adige an adantage
• Experience of sheet metal fabrication an advantage

Hours of work - 42 ½ per week

Laser Cutting Estimator

Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate the following :

• Proven sales experience in the metals and/or fabrication industry.
• Ability to interpret technical and fabrication drawings
• Proven experience in an estimating role preferably from a laser cutting and press brake background
• Excellent numeric and computer skills
• Ability to work well under pressure both on own initiative & as part of a team.
• Experience of selling business to business and constantly exceeding sales targets
• Experience of sheet metal fabrication & Autocad an advantage.

Hours of work – 42 ½ per week

SP Fabs UK - Blackburn

CAD/CAM Programmer

Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate they are:

• Fully conversant with sheet metal programming software such as Radan and Amadas AP100 for a turret punch
• Able to understand technical drawings & draw and develop 2D components and for secondary processing i.e press brake forming
• Able to work in Autocad
• Experienced in programming on type
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication an advantage

Hours of work Monday - Thursday 8am to 5pm, Fridays 8am - 2pm

Press Brake Setter/ Operator

Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate the following :

• Experience on Amada press brakes
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
• Willingness to work overtime
• Willingness to undertake other reasonable roles in the work shop from time to time
• Sheet metal working background an advantage

Hours of work Monday to Thursday 8 am – 2 pm , Fridays 8 am – 2 pm

5750 Components - Liverpool

2 x Laser Machine Operators

Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate the following :

• Previous experience as a laser machine operator, ideally on Trumpf
• Good understanding of engineering drawings
• FLT licence
• Able to set and maintain a high standard of workmanship
• Able to work pro actively to improve productivity and efficiency

Hours of work :Average 37 hour working week over a rotational 3 shift basis of 6 am – 2 pm, 2 pm – 10 pm & 10 pm – 6 am.

External Sales Executive

Due to expansion and additional new state of the art laser cutting facilities we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and outgoing external sales executive at 5750 Components Ltd based in Knowsley, to promote our laser cutting services and added value fabrication. The ideal applicant would have relevant experience in B2B sales of laser cut profiles and/or a sheet metal fabrication background.
