ACADEMY BECOMES MEMBER OF AWFTE
The WEC Welding & Engineering Training Academy has become a member of the Association of Welding and Fabrication Training and Education.
Membership of this association shows continued commitment to the Academy, which is growing from strength to strength. 'AWFTE was established in 1990 creating a national network for welding & fabrication professionals in the education and training sector,' explains Kris Mercer, Instructor at the Academy. 'Membership of the association ensures we are kept abreast of the latest welding and fabrication methods and have access to the latest information on materials.'
The apprentices of WEC's training academy can also enter national welding competitions to test their skills - the ultimate challenge for any student.
