Responsibilities
  • Write, edit and publish high quality, compelling and unique copy for various marketing channels, including website content, PPC ads, email campaigns, press releases, business awards application, and case studies for a variety of industry sectors
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of the social media plan and come up with engaging content to help grow our audience
  • Help with our digital marketing and SEO activity for multiple websites
  • Plan, develop and implement effective marketing campaigns for the company’s new Engineering Academy to drive engagement and promote engineering as the best career choice to local school leavers
  • Assisting our HR Team with recruitment campaigns for apprenticeships and internal vacancies
  • Source and write stories for the company’s newsletters and produce internal news pieces for the company’s Intranet
  • Help with the organisation of multiple events (trade shows, corporate golf day, recruitment open evenings, internal awards ceremonies, fundraising events, etc)
  • Create HTML emails to support the company’s digital marketing activity
  • Assist the wider marketing team with ad-hoc duties

    Role Overview

    As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing metal parts, primarily working with our laser-cut profiles. You will work closely with the production team to ensure all products meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on time.

    Knowledge, Skills, Experience
    • TIG Welding & Fabrication Experience
    • Experienced in the ability to read engineering drawings
    • Experience in brake press setting & operating
    • Use of basic inspection equipment
    • Ability to work effectively and use own initiative
    • Good communicator at all levels

    Responsibilities
    • To promote the services of this Division and where applicable other sub divisions of WEC Group
    • Quoting new customers
    • Responsibility for achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
    • Produce weekly/monthly forecasting data and sales reports
    • Cold calling/lead generation and prospecting
    • Generate business at senior level
    • Strategy and business planning
    • Generate new business opportunities within your territory
    • Regional strategy planning
    • Create and deliver successful presentations – (all levels)

    Knowledge, Skills, Experience

    Candidates must have proven experience in a business to business Engineering Sales capacity dealing in a sub contract medium-large size welding/fabrication environment, with achieved target sales in excess of £1,000,000 per annum.

    Ideal candidates need to be conversant in welding & fabrication technologies with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. (A welding and fabrication background would be advantageous, although not essential)
