Responsibilities
  • Open internal and external mail distributing and allocating as appropriate
  • Matching of vendor invoices to POD’s across 4 companies
  • Allocating invoices to Company database
  • Resolving invoice queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Processing of vendor invoices to Accounts Payable Ledger
  • Monthly vendor statement reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly payment proposals
  • Assist with vendor telephone queries
  • Provide a general accounts resource – scanning, filling, archiving etc
  • Month end accruals and company recharges
  • Other dues as directed

Knowledge, Skills, Experience
  • Previous experience of a computerised Purchase Ledger system is essential
  • Able to work in a collaborative team environment. “Can-do” and flexible approach

Responsibilities
  • Primarily an estimating position responding to live enquiries
  • Reviewing enquiries and liaising directly with customers
  • Producing accurate and detailed manufacturing cost estimates generated from customer drawings
  • Inputting all information on to the computer system in order to produce full quotations

  • To quote and sell the services of laser cutting, waterjet cutting, press brake, welding and sub-con operations
  • Promote the products and services of this sub contract division
  • Quote existing customers, maintaining a high standard of service
  • Maintain and grow current customer working relationships


Knowledge, Skills, Experience

Ideally candidates should have experience in a similar estimating capacity within the metals industry, preferably from a laser cutting, profiling, or aqua jet cutting background.

Ideal candidates must have excellent organisational, numeracy and computer literacy skills and the ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings to discuss solutions and be able to prepare and submit quotations in a professional manner.
