With over 35 years specialised experience in dealing with all metals and alloys alongside state-of-the-art facilities and a highly skilled workforce, WEC Group provide a quality stainless steel fabrication service.
We have an extensive range of modern fabrication equipment in-house and a team of 150 skilled welders who are highly skilled in stainless steel fabrication techniques and practises. We work to ASME and BS EN standards and our welders and fully qualified in MIG, TIG, MMA, sub-merged arc and coded welding in all disciplines. All coded welding is assessed by PED assessment bodies such as Royal Sun, Lloyds and bsi.
STAINLESS STEEL BRIDGES
As a leader in bespoke metal fabrication, WEC Group have been involved in various projects including the design, manufacture and install of the Mead’s Reach Bridge at Temple Quay in Bristol. Weighing in at 75 tonnes and spanning 60 metres, the bridge was part of a £200 million pound regeneration project for the Temple Quay area.WEC Group also fabricated the first stainless steel road bridge in the UK, which has now been lifted into place in the historic village of Pooley Bridge in the Lake District. The complex structure of the Pooley Bridge demanded expertise to manufacture which suited the proven history and knowledge that our highly skilled welders possess.
