WEC Powder Coating is the new division of WEC Group. Our highly skilled, in-house powder coating team has many years' experience in the powder coating industry.

Heavy investments in our state-of-the-art powder coating plant, which has the capability to powder coat components up to 1.5m high x 3m long x 800mm wide and the latest automation technology, mean we are highly competitive for volume orders and large batch quantities.

Boasting two automatic reciprocators, a 90% powder recovery system and a 4 stage in-line pre-treatment plant, our paint line is extremely cost-effective and environmentally friendly.

Based at our headquarters in Darwen, Lancashire, our investment in the latest powder coating technology enables us to offer industrial subcontract powder coating services to a wide range of industries nationwide including retail, rail, street furniture, automotive, aerospace and more to any RAL colour.

We use various powders such as Epoxy, Polyester, and Polyurethane as well as architectural and made to order powders. The range of colours available is virtually unlimited, and we specialise in the powder coating of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

Powder Coating Benefits

Powder coated surfaces are more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing than other finishes, meaning it is extremely durable. The process is also environmentally friendly as virtually no pollutants are released into the air.

Additional Services

We also offer shot blasting and wet painting of components up to 15m long x 6m wide x 4m high with a range of standard RAL colours. In addition, WEC Group also offer a range of laser cutting, waterjet cutting, CNC machining, fabrication and sheet metalwork services in-house to provide a one-stop-shop solution.
