What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Efficient unloading, handling and storage of internal material, including steel, stainless steel, aluminium etc. to appropriate holding area
- Labelling and marking of parts and materials
- Use of hand and power tools
- Printing order sheets and sourcing the correct parts

- Working from Customer drawings to produce detailed quotations
- Producing accurate and detailed manufacturing cost estimates generated from detailed client manufacturing drawings
- Responsible for monitoring and managing delivery lead times and the arrangement of sub contract support
- Creating full routing information including labour and material costing
- Liaising with sub-contract suppliers as required
- Inputting all information in to the computer system in order to produce full quotations to the sales department
- Monitoring enquiries within the company and speaking directly with customers and end users

Ideal candidates need to be conversant in welding & fabrication technologies with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. (A welding and fabrication background would be advantageous, although not essential)
