WEC's Fifth Annual Charity Golf Day 2016
WEC Group held its fifth Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday 8th July at Accrington Golf Club.
The golf day was open to all customers, suppliers, staff and commercial associates of WEC Group and 68 players took part on the day.
Together we raised £3,490 for Theo's Warriors, with a generous offer of £3,000 match funding from our sponsor Barclays Bank.
Theo's Warriors is charity raising money for six-year-old Theo Power from Blackburn who was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of childhood cancer, in 2015. Theo is currently undergoing treatment in the UK, but his family needs to raise £250,000 for treatment which is only available in America.
We would like to thank all the players for their generous charity donations on the day as well as all our sponsors and suppliers who donated some brilliant prizes.
