WEC Laser Unveil Latest Investment in Vehicle Fleet!

We’re very excited to unveil our latest vehicle investment from our Laser Engineering division in Darwen, Lancashire. Our two new 18-ton curtain sider lorries have recently entered service in our vehicle fleet and have began to hit the roads around Lancashire and the rest of the UK.

This new investment will greatly improve our delivery capacity for laser cut and fabricated parts, allowing us to further reduce lead times for our customers. The new lorries will also help us to drastically reduce our carbon emissions in line with our ISO 14001 certified Environmental policies.

Both new trucks come fitted with onboard weighting systems, which will enable us to maximise both space and payloads. One of the new HGV lorries also has a double decker configuration, which will further reduce the number of journeys we need to make.

Continuous investment is at the forefront of our ongoing growth strategy and this has allowed us to grow into one of the UK’s most successful Laser Cutting and Fabrication companies.
