Business As Usual for WEC Group to support all customers during lockdown 2.0
In light of the recent announcement from the British government for a second "national lockdown" from Thursday 5th November to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we would like to update customers on our ongoing business continuity plans.
As during the first lockdown, WEC Group will remain open and fully operational to support all of our customers through these challenging times and as key suppliers to the medical, pharmaceutical, construction, and security sectors (to name but a very few), we can still provide a 24/7 manufacturing service as usual. We have implemented further precautions to keep all of our staff members safe, whilst they continue to provide essential manufacturing services.
Manufacturing firms played a key role during the first lockdown to help the country's response in the early stages of this pandemic and we are very proud to have played our part by supplying 15,000 key sheet metal assemblies as well as 8,000 machined components for the VentilatorChallengeUK consortium as well as the new Nightingale hospitals which were built across the country. More can be read about this on our website.
As a reminder we can offer a wide range of manufacturing services to manufacturers who are facing challenges in their supply chain with goods that are usually supplied outside of the UK. These include:
- Fabrication & Coded Welding
- Flatbed & Tube laser cutting
- Sheet metalwork
- CNC Machining
- Shot Blasting, Powder Coating, and Wet Painting
- Waterjet Cutting
- CCTV Mounting Solutions
