WEC Machining Invest in a new CNC Milling Machine!
We are delighted to share that our latest investment is now fully commissioned and up and running at our WEC Machining facility in Blackburn, Lancashire, with operator training currently underway.
Our new Correa Axia moving column CNC milling machine has a capacity of 12.5m x 3m x 1.5m and can handle parts of up to 20,000kg.
This £1million investment in the very latest large and heavy machining technology consolidates our position as the leading precision engineering operation in the UK.
This latest addition joins our already impressive machinery line-up which comprises of two other 11.5m x 1.5m x 2.5m Correa Axia’s and an 8m x 1.5m x 2m Asquith Butler, which are supported by another 40+ CNC machining centres and lathes. Our factory has taken a full refurbishment to maximise productivity, with a new layout for the full investment.
