WEC Group Ltd were awarded 'Business of the Year 2009' sponsored by The Lancashire Evening Telegraph. At an awards evening held at Ewood Park, the Group was awarded the much coveted main prize beating off 117 other entries for the title.

Prestigious guests included the Deputy Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen, council representatives, proud family members, education and industry representatives who were all in attendance to support the apprentices.
