WEC's Fourth Annual Charity Golf Day 2015
WEC Group held its fourth Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday 3rd July at Accrington Golf Club.
The golf day was open to all customers, suppliers, staff and Commercial Associates of the WEC Group and 76 players took part on that very sunny day.
Together we raised a total of £3,000 for Nightsafe, a local charity that supports homeless people between the ages of 16-24.
We would like to say a special thanks to our sponsor Barclays, who kindly offered us match funding of £1,000 taking the grand total up to £4,000.
The money we raised on the day should provide 2000 breakfasts for young homeless people or 160 nights in the shelter.
We would like to thank all the players for their generous charity donations on the day as well as all our sponsors and suppliers who donated some brilliant prizes.
We are looking forward to welcoming all our guests again next year!
